Text Message (SMS) Communications Terms

1. Program description

Metro YMCA of the Oranges ("Metro YMCA," "we," "us," or "our") may send text messages to individuals who have opted in to receive SMS communications from us. Messages may include program and membership information, event notifications, camp updates, fundraising and giving day alerts, facility announcements, and other organizational news.

2. Consent and opt-in

By providing your mobile phone number and checking the consent box on any Metro YMCA form, web page, or registration, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Metro YMCA at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 8 messages per month, depending on the program or service you enrolled in. We will only send messages relevant to your relationship with Metro YMCA.

4. Opt-out instructions

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts will be sent unless you re-subscribe. You may also reply HELP at any time to receive assistance.

6. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. Metro YMCA is not responsible for any fees charged by your carrier.

7. Supported carriers

Service is available on major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others. Delivery is not guaranteed on all carriers or devices.

8. Privacy

Your mobile number and any personal information collected through SMS opt-in will be used solely to send you the communications you requested. We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing purposes. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

Metro YMCA reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued participation in our SMS program following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
