Fairview Lake Environmental Education Center is a place to learn about the environment in a relaxed atmosphere with the help of talented, trained naturalists in any season - winter, spring or fall!
 
Whether you have a group of 10 or 300, Fairview Lake has the program and accommodations to fit your group’s special needs. With over 24 modern, fully winterized facilities, including three dining halls and a variety of environmental settings, we take pride in the fact that we can provide your group with a program tailored to enhance your students’ education.
Fairview Lake can provide a meaningful trip for you and your students. We specialize in resident (overnight) experiences but do our best to accommodate day trips. The staff can also provide programs to fit students with special needs- such as youth at risk and those with multiple handicaps.
It is our feeling that the future is not someplace we are going to, but one we are creating. The paths to it are not found, but made. So let your school be part of that future! Fairview Lake has many programs that make us unique. With a 110 acre lake, our limnology class uses a pontoon boat to explore some of the more scientific aspects of aquatic studies. Our swamp walk is handicap accessible and allows all students to understand the importance of wetlands. The Kittatinny Mountain Range, adjacent to Fairview Lake, enables students to walk through time as they see first hand the evidence of the ice age.
During the winter months, students can experience the thrill of ice fishing, cross country skiing, the excitement of animal tracking or over 20 other topics which are offered on a year round basis.
